How much does China travel consulting cost?
We work on a fee basis. The cost depends on the scope, including the trip duration and group size. After the initial consultation, you will receive a transparent proposal. You pay travel expenses such as flights and hotels directly to the providers.
Do you offer package holidays or travel packages?
No. lailaiqu is not a tour operator. We advise you and plan your trip for a fee. You book the travel services yourself.
Who books the flights, hotels, and trains?
You do, directly with the providers. We advise you on what suits your trip and, if you wish, guide you through the booking process.
Do I need a visa for China?
Rules change. When you contact us, we will share the information currently available to us; the guidance issued by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Chinese embassy is authoritative.
Is it safe to travel in China?
China is generally considered a very safe destination with excellent infrastructure. As with any long-haul trip, we can support you with practical arrangements on site. Please check the latest travel advice from the German Federal Foreign Office. We take your needs for safety and comfort into account when planning, but cannot guarantee safety.
Will you accompany me during my trip?
This is optional. If you wish, we can assist on individual days or at appointments, or help with conversations as an interpreter or travel companion. The scope and fee are agreed in advance. We speak fluent Mandarin.
How much time should I allow?
For a first trip, we recommend 10 to 14 days; for several regions, 2 to 3 weeks is more suitable. China is vast, and allowing extra time for journeys is worthwhile.
How far in advance should I plan?
Several months ahead for peak travel periods and popular destinations. This allows time for visas, bookings, and detailed planning.
How much does a trip to China cost?
Costs depend on the trip duration, route, type of vehicle or hotels, and the level of support you want. We will prepare a transparent, tailor-made proposal.
Do you also offer trips to Europe for Chinese-speaking guests?
Yes. We also accompany Chinese-speaking guests on independent and motorhome trips through Germany and Europe, with full support in their native language.
Do you speak Chinese?
Yes, LAILAIQU offers trip planning and accompaniment in German, English, and Chinese (Mandarin).
